Established in March 2006 as a franchise group, Ultimate Hairdressing became an independent company when it came out of the original franchise in March 2010. Ultimate has many years of experience in the hairdressing profession, and provides products and services to clients throughout Wolverhampton.

Within 12 months, Ultimate Hairdressing became an award winning salon. Having taken part in Trend Vision in 2011, Ultimate Hairdressing’s very own creative designer, Sammie Dalton, earned her place in the final after competing against 800 competitors up and down the country. Although Sammie didn’t win, a massive congratulations to her for getting down to the final 20.
The business offers a variety of hairdressing services to the general public, which can be designed to give a brand new cut, colour and style for everyone, while using the latest tools and equipment. The business also has expert staff, enabling clients to sit back, relax, enjoy the service and feel fabulous at the end of every appointment. Also supplying a wide range of retail, the irons, hairdryers and products are perfect for all to enjoy. Available in the shop or on the website, the products are provided for each individuals needs and help all clients maintain their salon finished styles everyday. With a team of five highly skilled stylists and one receptionist, Ultimate has a professional team who are highly qualified and whose main goal is to provide a fantastic service to each individual that walks through the salon door. Ultimate Hairdressing has a large customer base which is increasing everyday. They have many clients from in and around Wolverhampton. Clients are always put first, and weather they are old or new clients, they are sure to have a brilliant experience every time they visit Ultimate Hairdressing.
History of the Franchise
The business is owned by Sam Yates, who started her career at the age of 15 working as an apprentice. She gained all of her qualifications, then moved to Glemby International and pursued her career with the company for 7 years while travelling across the country training like-minded hairdressers in their Glemby techniques. After working with Glemby she then took her skills abroad to Crete and spent 6 months there, working in local Greek salons. She then came back to England and began working part time in Wolverhamoton City Centre becaming an Artistic Director/Salon Educator. Sam then went on to achieve a degree in colour with Wella (Master Colour Award) which is recognised through the hairdressing industry.
The Kardashians have taken the plunge and dropped their trademark glossy, black locks and now you too can also with a stylish glamazon this season. Gone are the days of ‘dip-dyes’ being specifically designed for the bottom of your hair. Recently we’ve seen celebs such as Drew Barrymore and Amanda Holden making their dip-dyes higher up and more multi-tonal by having predominantly more foil work incorporated into their look. Celebs are also taking their Ombré’s right up to as far as their fringe by having subtle multi tonal fringes. Add beautiful beach waves with some irons and a spritz of sea salt spray for the beachy holiday look. Perfect and hassle free for any summer holiday that you’ve got planned for 2014!
